The crown chakra is located in the center of the top of the skull. It offers a gateway to awareness - a clear state of consciousness, free of constraints of our human brain, connecting with divine source. Through the crown, we radiate peace and love to everyone around us. Though this may take time, dedication and patience, it is worth every bit of effort to open the crown chakra. But don’t forget that even when we’ve reached such a place, we still remain ordinary human beings, doing ordinary things, with our feet on the ground.
	Quartz Crystal -- Sometimes known as rock crystal, quartz is one of the most plentiful as well as one of the most beautiful of the stones. Memory is governed here and it may be that as you clear this center, there’s a flood of long-forgotten memories. Let them go! 	Lapis Lazuli -- The subtle energies of lapis lazuli amplify your natural talents for speaking and allow them to fully develop. It is stone of knowledge, wisdom, perfection, protection, and creative expression. It is also beneficial to the respiratory system, especially the lungs and throat. It is said to be beneficial for its ability to purify the blood and boost the immune system, and it can help eliminate problems associated with the thyroid. Lapis lazuli will improve your vitality overall, aiding you to harmonize body and mind, resulting in a more balanced state.
The Heart Chakra – Healing the Heart The heart chakra is located slightly above the sternum in the center of the chest. The energy of this center is what we call love – love that enhances, enriches, makes beautiful, makes wise. It allows all to be forgiven, resolves conflicts, and heals wounds. Yet, this chakra more than any other also lends itself to extremes. So while it can deliver exquisite joy, it can also be the source of pain. It also amplifies love, its gentle vibrations stimulating the tender appreciation of all things.
Solar Plexus Chakra – Reclaiming One’s Own Power The solar plexus chakra is located midway between the lower chest and the naval. It moves us from the base world to the ephemeral, offering a potent mix of passion and energy, combined with logic, motivation and drive. The energy of this center offers up unlimited possibilities to transform our lives and ourselves. A blockage at this center usually means we haven’t yet dealt with issues of anger, rage, jealousy, resentment or guilt. It’s here where they get stuck. Associated with the LINGHAM (penis) and YONI (vagina), it is the center for physical nurturing and tenderness, about what the body wants or needs, about giving and receiving sensual pleasure. It also influences the willingness to you’re your emotions. This center also directly relates to the coming together of the masculine and feminine principles within oneself. As such, it is about releasing creative energy, the flow of inspiration, about movement and flexibility. The sense most associated with the sacral chakra is that of taste, allowing you to go out to taste and enjoy not only the food you eat, but also the world and all it has to offer.
	Carnelian -- The red-orange that is characteristic of carnelian enhances one’s energy, enlivens creativity, encourages individuality, and offers the sort of strength that inspires courage. It is helpful for ridding you of negativity and skepticism, as well as works to dispel negativity from other stones. It’s also good for the memory, aids in past life recall, and is especially useful when searching for a good mate.
Root or Base Chakra – The Foundation On Which All Else Is Built The root or base chakra is located midway between the anus and the genital organs.
