For native people of every land everything and everyone that exists
has a purpose. The Hopis believe
that each person is given this as a gift at birth by the Creator, and that it is one's mission to bring this gift into being in his or her own lifetime. The Navajo call this walking in beauty -- living in balance with all of creation by remaining true to one's essential Self.
Living In Beauty
group work envisions
this new way of embracing life.
Each week we come together, exploring inner realms and states of being, issues of:
- Gay Identity
- Life Experience
- Healing
- Self-Knowledge
- and Growth.
Through dreamwork, readings,
discussion, and experiential encounters, you'll be met with insight about
patterns and outlooks.
You must be willing to reveal information about the material which surfaces - the hopes, fears, questions and conflicts of your life. As you do, each group member holds space for one another as a confidential, safe and supportive environment for the journey to unfold.
Living In Beauty group work draws upon tenets of Jungian psychology, native healing practices, and gay-centered inner work. It is highly effective when given consistent, ongoing attention, leading to a more genuine expression of your own unique nature and a fuller experience of life.
